Guest of Honour
We are very pleased to welcome Natasha Kaplinsky as our guest of honour this year. Natasha is well known to all in her capacity as newsreader for Sky, BBC, Channel 5 and ITV
Charity: In 2017 Natasha was awarded the OBE for her services to the Holocaust Commission. She is a celebrity ambassador for the UK charity Save the Children, and has for over a decade been an active fundraiser. She is also patron of the Bevern Trust, a Registered Charity that works to support young adults with profound learning disabilities.
Home: Born in Brighton, Natasha now lives locally with her husband Justin and two children, Arlo and Angelica (along with her dogs and a growing assortment of animals!) She has recently added cheese making to her many talents, after taking a course with High Weald Dairy in Horsted Keynes. She is also the co-founder of Mum & You, a new baby brand designed by mums.
We have included some new classes in our schedule this year and hope you will go to our download page to view the many classes open to all. We are hoping for more entries in our cheese making class and High Weald Dairy are offering a Cheesemaking Course for Beginners.
Our schedule of classes is available to download now from here and will be available in local outlets in Ashurst Wood, Forest Row, Coleman's Hatch and Hartfield from May.
The Tug of War Shield was received by Camilla Charters on behalf of Team Charterfest
