Autumn Show 2024

Everyone agreed it was simply a wonderful community spirit that was present both before and on the day.

Our aim to make the event more attractive to youngsters and families paid off with so many of them having a go at hooking ducks, Hoopla-ing, bashing the rat or having their faces painted.

The raffle was AMAZING with many generous donations given.

Open Gardens 2024

This year's Open Gardens was a roaring success and the feedback has been wonderful. Homeowners, visitors and the team of helpers all reported that the two days showed our community spirirt at its best.

We also raised our best-ever amount so thanks to everyone involved.

Open Gardens 2023

  (May 20th & 21st)

This year's event was a real success. We had lots of visitors to the beauticul gardens that our very kind residents from the area made avaiable.

And we were blessed with some fantastic weather!

Visit our gallery to see images of the gardens.

The Open Gardens page contains a review of the event and a poem, 'In this place', by Jenny Lynne Sessions aka Jen-ix which was kindly passed to us by Sarah and Oliver in celebration of the Open Gardens 2023.

IN THIS PLACE

Water flows in gaps and spaces,

Turns and falls

like time

The garden smiles as good folk dress her with their gratitude

Laughter echoes through the twisting trees where birds and rabbits dart

The gentle tracks of roaming deer call magic to the dance

At dusk a breeze unfolds the evening

To the beat of nature’s heart

shadows play

bats zig zag by

beneath the twinkling stars

The burly night owl hoots her prayer

such beauty holds this place

The forest sings her good night song and I am filled with grace
